Help Keep Christ in Christmas!

Dear Friends,

"And she will have a son, and you shall name him JESUS, for he will save his people from their sins." - Matthew 1:21

The Christmas Season is here once again and we are doing our part to help Keep Christ in Christmas in our country! If the three wise men were to visit America today, they might be told that if they wanted to find Jesus they would need to seek Him inside the churches or inside Christian homes, since it has now become politically incorrect for Jesus to be seen in public on His birthday.

Some Christians ask, "What's the big deal? Why make such a fuss?" We must all wake up to the fact that there are Americans today who, like King Herod, are troubled at even the mention of Jesus' name; and they are doing everything in their power to publicly eradicate His memory. If they can get that done, they might then focus their attacks on the very Gospel itself – and try to have it condemned as

so-called "hate speech". We must all stand in defense of our beliefs.

Our partners at The Upper Room Church of God in Christ placed their annual Keep Christ in Christmas full-page ad in the N&O today! We would like to say “Thank You” to their leader, Pastor Patrick L. Wooden, for taking such a bold and positive stand for Christ. You can view it on page 13A of today's N&O.

As you begin your Christmas shopping, please let us know which stores include Merry Christmas in their promotional materials (as well as the ones that prohibit it). We will begin posting that information next week on our homepage under Christmas Do’s and Don’ts.
