C2ActionGram Pro-Homosexual Agenda DAY OF SILENCE Coming to Schools Next Week! Friends, The homosexual advocacy group GLSEN (gay, lesbian, straight education network) has organized its 11th annual DAY OF SILENCE and it takes place nationally next Wednesday, April 18th. According to their website (www.dayofsilence.org): The Day of Silence is an annual event held to bring attention to anti-LGBT bullying, harassment and discrimination in schools. Students and teachers nationwide will observe the day in silence to echo the silence that LGBT and ally students face everyday. In it's 11th year, the Day of Silence is one of the largest student-led actions in the country. Here are some examples of what participating students will be handing out while they refuse to speak in school on April 18th: See the "Speaking Cards" at http://www.dayofsilence.org/downloads/r110.pdf See the "Principal Proclamation Postcard" at http://www.dayofsilence.org/downloads/genask1.pdf See the "More Inclusive Libraries Postcard" at http://www.dayofsilence.org/downloads/genask2.pdf
Obviously, this organization is attempting to force its worldview into every nook and cranny of our public education system. While speaking out against bullying of any type is certainly honorable, that is not the true purpose of GLSEN's Day of Silence...it's true purpose is to shut up the opinions of anyone who opposes their lifestyle. On top of that, they seek to "normalize" homosexual behavior (among other sexually deviant behaviors) and thus present it to children as young as Kindergarten as just another "lifestyle choice" that is on equal footing with heterosexual marriage and relationships. Below is a list of schools in North Carolina that have participated in the past. Some schools have been known to observe this "day" on a date other than the one GLSEN announces. We suggest you call your school(s) regardless of whether they appear on the list below and find out for yourself if this is going on there. GLSEN targets all the way down to Kindergarten in their efforts. Our friends at the Alliance Defense Fund have a wonderful way to counter the Day of Silence...the Day of Truth is being held on Thursday, April 19th. Please visit www.dayoftruth.org to see what you and your student(s) can do to stand for truth in our schools! As always, thank you for your support and prayers. In His Service, Steve Noble, Chairman
