Final days in the battle to defeat "Sexuality Education" bill!

Friends,

It looks like the final battle over the "Sexuality Education" bill (H879) will be fought next Tuesday, May 15th when the House Education Commitee meets at 11:00am.

Planned Parenthood, NARAL (Nat'l Abortion & Reproductive Rights Action League) and Equality NC are flooding the Education Committee with emails and calls. Rest assured, they WILL be at next week's meeting in force and wearing stickers to show their support for this dangerous legislation.

The main question is this: Will we sit on the sidelines and watch them force this nightmare legislation into our schools and into the minds and bodies of school children all across this state?

Our friends in the House can't win this without YOUR HELP, and we are fearful that "the fix is in" (remember the lottery fiasco?). WE MUST UNITE AND MAKE OUR VOICES HEARD!

This is the final battle plan:

If your Representative (don't know who that is? go here) is on the Education Committee (check here), then your voice is the most important! Send them an email and call them at all of the numbers listed on their legislative website (go here). See a sample message below.
Send an email to every member of the committee. You will find email lists and a sample message below.
ATTEND NEXT TUESDAY'S MEETING AT 11:00AM IN ROOM 603 OF THE LEGISLATIVE OFFICE BUILDING! WE MUST BE THERE TO COUNTER THE PRO-ABORTION, PRO-RADICAL SEXUALITY EDUCATION CROWD! WE WILL HAVE OUR OWN STICKERS THIS TIME! You can find the directions here.
Finally, but most importantly, PRAY for God to move the hearts and minds of the Committee members.

Please do your part in protecting our children and our rights to participate in the system by VOTING NO ON H879!!!
