Wake County School Board Elections Next Tuesday October 9th!

There are five School Board seats up in next Tuesday's election (October 9th), but only two of them are contested.  The Wake County School Board has not exactly been friendly towards our biblical worldview when we have approached them on the following issues:

• New Age teaching in an elementary school (see the ActionGram here)
• Christian Teacher mistreated for a guest speaker's comments (see the ActionGram here)
• Profane and vulgar content in reading assignments (see the ActionGram here)
• "See You at the Pole" event misinformation (see the ActionGram here)

That is why next Tuesday's election is SO CRITICAL!  The voter turnout will be pathetically low and THAT is why your 30 minute investment  will be so significant!  If just a few hundred of us show up we could begin to turn the tide on the School Board make-up.

I am confident that all of us can take 30 minutes out of our day next Tuesday to drive to our polling place and cast a vote in favor of our worldview.  Rest assured, there won't be any lines to wait in!  It will be like stopping at a McDonalds in the middle of the afternoon...Hello/Goodbye!

• Please take a moment to visit the election website (here) and see if your school district is in next Tuesday's election. 
• Please visit our Political Action Committee (PAC) at www.called2elect.org for a list of endorsements as well as a form you can print off and share with your friends, co-workers, neighbors and Sunday School classmates!
• Please pray next Tuesday that "our side" will show up at the polls!
