Called2Action This Week Hits the Airwaves This Saturday!!!

Called2Action This Week will finally hit the airwaves this Saturday at 11:00am Eastern time!  You can tune in on the following stations or listen online at www.830wtru.com!

Please be in prayer for me this Saturday as I seek to wake-up the sleepy Body of Christ!  We have a lot of work to do both inside and outside the Church, but it simply won't happen without the power of the Holy Spirit, so please pray diligently!

Finally, we have reached about 20% of our fundraising goal to support this new outreach effort and we are deeply grateful to those of you who have contributed...BUT, there is still a long way to go.  We have been awarded a $5,000 matching grant (Praise God!) but we need $5,000 in new contributions to qualify for it.

There is a 97% chance that you have not yet given to this effort (3% of our members have). 

Consider This:  In 2006, Americans gave just 2% of their income to "charitable efforts" (including money given to churches) while spending about 5% on entertainment.  I had to read that twice myself!  In very plain language, we spend twice as much enteraining ourselves as we do caring for others and investing in God's work.  These are the type of facts that we will discuss on the radio show, and I hope they will help you re-consider making an investment in this effort.  If just 100 of you gave $50 each, we would get the matching grant money!  

When you combine the seemingly small efforts of a good number of people, the results are amazing!
