Contact Gov. Easley to Protect Abstinence Education & Defeat Planned Parenthood!

You may have noticed a "battle of opinions" over Abstinence Education in two recent issues of the News & Observer in Raleigh (to read the truthful article, click here).  These were the result of a high stakes pressure campaign directed at NC Governor Mike Easley by Planned Parenthood, our nations #1 murderer of the pre-born.  Planned Parenthood's goal?

De-fund and kill abstinence education in North Carolina.

Governor Easley may be tempted to refuse federal funding which is used to pay for abstinence education in North Carolina.

Their pressure on our Governor must not go unopposed.  This war has been raging for years but has gotten particularly robust since earlier this year when we fought off the anti-abstinence, pro-radical comprehensive sex education bill in the NC Legislature (Planned Parenthood was on the offensive then, too).  Perhaps you don't remember what their radical new sex-ed looked like...please click here for a graphic reminder.

Planned Parenthood will not give up until abstinence education is dead...abstinence starves abortion clinics, comprehensive sex-ed feeds them.  

Please call and email Gov. Easley's office and politely encourage him to continue to ACCEPT the federal funding for abstinence education in NC.  ABSTINENCE EDUCATION WORKS AND IT IS THE BEST WAY TO PROTECT OUR CHILDREN'S PHYSICAL AND EMOTIONAL HEALTH.

You don't have to write a Pulitzer Prize winning note!  Simply ask the Governor to please do his part to protect our children by supporting abstinence education in North Carolina and accepting the Federal funding!  Please, DO NOT mention Planned Parenthood...it will only make you look like another special interest group.
