C2A... FYI National Day of Prayer This Thursday, May 1st! Friends, The National Day of Prayer (see the homepage here) is this Thursday, May 1st. There will be hundreds of thousands of people all over this great nation crying out to God...will you be one of them? Perhaps the most well known conditional promise of God regarding "healing their land" is 2 Chronicles 7:14. I'm sure you are familiar with it: If the unbelievers will just stop making such a mess of things...NOPE! If we can just get the right folks into office...NOPE! If we can just see a few celebrities come to Jesus...NOPE!  ...if my people (us Christians) who are called by my name ("I'm a Christian") will humble themselves (that's submission) and pray (that's supplication) and seek my face (that's desperation) and turn from their wicked ways (that's repentance)...THEN (this is a conditional promise) will I hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their sin. AMEN!  Friends, the "culture war" is important because we need to stand for biblical truth...but God has already given us the ONLY TRUE SOLUTION for our nation's woes...and it lies squarely on our shoulders. If the Church (you and me) were to come around to the conditional promise of 2 Chronicles 7:14, then God has already said that He would heal our land - and our God is a promise keeping God! Every National Day of Prayer event (find a local event by clicking here) will include a segment dedicated to repentance.  PLEASE  join with Called2Action and believers all over America this Thursday, May 1st as we cry out our failings to God on our knees and then beseech Him to heal our land! What could possibly be more important than that?
