CBS wants your family room to be a "Swingtown"...Help us say NO!

A menage a trois; a high school junior smoking pot and later flirting with her English teacher; the flagrant enjoyment of quaaludes and cocaine; and the sight of the neighborhood scold unwittingly stumbling upon a groaning and slithering orgy. (MercureyNews.com article here)

Where do you think this garbage is playing? HBO? Cinemax? Pay-Per-View? WRONG! Try your local CBS station Thursday nights at 10pm.

"SWINGTOWN" is an all-out offensive on marriage and morality. One of the show's creator's said, " I think we're able to be more groundbreaking and more culturally subversive (emphasis mine) by putting this on a network, where more people will be exposed to it and where we'll have to deal with these adult issues in an oblique way". Obviously, CBS has an agenda in play here...the only question is, will we respond to the threat?

In case you are thinking, "It can't be that bad"...here is one of their "promotional" pictures featuring married neighbors who want to "swap partners":

We fought back when NBC launched their incredibly anti-Christian show Book of Daniel and it was thrown off the air. Now it's time to do the same with CBS. Our first volley will be aimed at the local CBS station manager as well as the station owner. Next week we will add any local advertisers that have purchased slots during the show.

As always, be FIRM but POLITE. Let them know that you will be boycotting CBS and any show sponsors until they remove SWINGTOWN from the air (a sample email is below - cut & paste it if you wish). WE MUST CALL AS WELL AS EMAIL. They will send you a "robo-reply", but keep sending in your complaints. They will respectfully note your call, but keep calling back.

I urge you to refuse to air future episodes of "Swingtown." In the meantime, I will boycott CBS and any company that advertises during "Swingtown".
