This Saturday: Is it a sin to get "buzzed"?

Our goal on C2A This Week is to challenge believers to think more deeply about their faith...and then live it out more authentically.  How can we transform the culture when many Christians have not been radically transformed themselves?  You have seen the Barna research information in our emails time and time again:

Only 9% of "born-again" believers have a biblical worldview...

• "Born-again" = people who made a decision to follow Jesus that is still important to them.
• "Biblical worldview" = believe the following six things: absolute moral truth exists/the Bible is totally accurate/Satan is a real being, not a symbol/a person cannot earn their way into Heaven/Jesus lived a sinless life/God is the all-knowing, all-powerful creator of the world and still rules the universe today.

Again, how can we fight a "culture war" with an army of weak soldiers?  On C2A This Week we will do everything we can to push believers to THINK MORE DEEPLY about their faith...and then LIVE IT OUT in their everyday lives.  So, if you think our show topics don't always make sense - remember our goal!

This Saturday...is it a sin for a Christian to get "buzzed"?  I'm sure we all agree that getting drunk is an obvious sin, but what about a harmless drink every now & then?  As long as you don't get drunk, is there anything wrong with drinking alcohol?  Is this an area where we come across like Pharisees?  WHAT DO YOU THINK?  Post your comments on our BLOG by clicking here and then TUNE IN this Saturday at high noon eastern time!
